We are pleased to invite you to the webinar “From Knowledge to Collective Action: How Different Forms of Knowledge Can Enhance the Prevention and Response to Wildfires in Brazil”, which will take place on July 28, 2026, from 14:00-15:30 (GMT) via Zoom.

This session will showcase the results of a collaborative effort to generate climate evidence for the Amazon and Pantanal biomes, bringing together scientists, Indigenous organizations, volunteer fire brigades, and civil society partners. The initiative seeks to better understand how climate change is influencing wildfire dynamics and to explore how different knowledge systems can contribute to more effective prevention, preparedness, and response strategies.

The event will be held in Portuguese with simultaneous interpretation into English.
